Integrated Facilities Management Capability for Defence Estate Support in Western Australia
Cameron Facilities is a Western Australian owned integrated facilities management company. This page sets out the capability we bring to Defence estate support requirements, being camp and accommodation services, cleaning, essential services maintenance, compliance and reporting, delivered under one accountable contract.
How We Present Ourselves to Defence
Defence procurement rewards accuracy and penalises overstatement, so it is worth being plain at the outset. This is a capability page. It describes the services Cameron Facilities delivers, the systems and certifications behind them and the reasons that capability is relevant to Defence estate support. It does not assert delivered Defence contracts, and it does not assert security clearances, accreditations or panel memberships.
We take that approach because a facilities provider working near Defence infrastructure is assessed on whether its statements hold up under scrutiny. A supplier that is precise about what it has and has not done is easier to prequalify than one that is not.
Capability, Stated Plainly
What we deliver today, the systems behind it and where it maps to Defence estate requirements
No Unverified Claims
No asserted clearances, accreditations, panel memberships or delivered Defence contracts
Open to Assessment
Prequalification, audit and site assessment welcomed as part of any engagement process
Transferable Operating Capability
The core of Defence estate support is the same work that keeps any remote or secure site running. Accommodation has to be cleaned and serviced. Messes have to be run to food safety standards. Ablutions, offices, recreation areas, workshops and grounds have to be maintained. Essential services have to be tested, certified and evidenced. A workforce has to be rostered, inducted and supervised a long way from head office.
Cameron Facilities delivers exactly that scope in remote camp operations and in commercial buildings across Western Australia. Our camp accommodation management capability covers full site operation including catering, housekeeping, maintenance, waste and compliance, and scales from small remote sites to large villages without changing the standard.
Full Scope Camp Operation
Catering, housekeeping, cleaning, waste, maintenance and compliance under one accountable contract
Rostered Remote Workforce
FIFO and residential rostering, inductions, supervision and coverage planning for remote locations
Scalable Standard
The same documented service standard applied whether the site holds twenty people or several hundred
Compliance and Assurance Foundations
Cameron Facilities holds triple ISO certification covering quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety. These are maintained through external audit rather than self assessment, and they underpin how every contract is run rather than sitting in a folder for tender responses.
For Defence estate work the practical value of that is the evidence trail. Every work order, inspection, test, certificate and corrective action is documented, timestamped and retained. Our OHS, safety and compliance function maintains the register, tracks due dates and escalates before items lapse. Certification details and evidence packs are provided in full as part of formal tender and prequalification responses rather than published on this website.
Triple ISO Certified
Quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems held and externally audited
Documented Evidence Trail
Work orders, tests, certificates and corrective actions retained permanently against each asset
Contractor Control
Insurance, licences, competencies and safety records verified before any subcontractor is granted access
Workforce, Screening and Site Discipline
Site discipline is where facilities providers most often fail a Defence assessment. Casual subcontracting, incomplete induction records and unverified personnel on site are the failures that get noticed. Our operating model is built around controlled access, documented induction and a verifiable record of who was on site and when.
Screening and clearance requirements are treated as a condition of access, applied to every worker and subcontractor, and managed against the standard the client specifies for the site. Where a requirement calls for personnel security clearances, facility accreditation or membership of a Defence industry security program, we would meet that requirement through the proper process before mobilising rather than claiming it in advance.
Controlled Site Access
Documented induction and verified access records for every worker and subcontractor
Screening as a Gate
Client specified screening treated as a mandatory condition of access rather than a formality
Attendance Evidence
Clock in, clock out and pre start briefing records captured through SiteIQ and retained
SiteIQ Reporting and Visibility
SiteIQ is our own facilities platform. It handles work order lodgement, assignment and tracking, clock in and clock out, pre start briefings, photographic closure evidence and compliance reporting.
For a contract manager assessing performance against a service level framework, that produces measured data rather than a narrative. Every job carries an owner, a timestamp and evidence at closure, and reporting is generated from the record rather than compiled by hand. You can read more about SiteIQ and what it reports. Platform hosting, data residency and access control arrangements are documented and provided on request as part of a formal assessment.
Service Level Measurement
Response and completion times measured against the contract framework rather than self reported
Photographic Closure
Every work order closed with before and after evidence stored against the asset
Reporting on Request
Data residency, hosting and access control documentation provided as part of formal assessment
What a Defence Engagement Would Require
Being useful here means being clear about the path rather than the pitch. Defence estate work in Australia generally requires a supplier to satisfy security requirements that go beyond standard commercial prequalification. Depending on the nature of the site and the work, that can include personnel security clearances at a specified level, membership of the Defence Industry Security Program, facility and information system accreditation, and compliance with the applicable Defence security and estate management frameworks.
Cameron Facilities does not represent on this page that it holds any particular clearance or accreditation. Where a requirement exists we will confirm our status honestly during prequalification and, where necessary, complete the required process before mobilisation. Prime contractors and integrators seeking a Western Australian facilities subcontractor with camp and estate capability are welcome to assess us on that basis.
Capability discussions can be started through our enquiry form, and formal opportunities submitted through our tender submission page.
Honest Prequalification
Security and accreditation status confirmed accurately during assessment rather than asserted upfront
Subcontract Ready
Available to prime contractors and integrators requiring WA based facilities and camp capability
WA Owned and Operated
Local decision making with management directly accessible rather than routed interstate
