Cameron Facilities started cleaning a corporate office in East Perth on 19 February 2026. Within weeks the same team was looking after the repairs as well.
The Situation
Some work sits outside any routine clean: grout in the kitchen and washrooms, marks on the desk partitions, a carpet patch outside the kitchen.
The client also had a list of small faults, each ranked by priority: a bathroom door vent to reinstall, old hook holes in the walls, walls to patch, warm lights in the reception lobby and the lock on the office door off reception.
What We Did
- Spring clean. Tile and grout machine scrubbing in the kitchen and toilets, targeted carpet shampoo and deodorising outside the kitchen, spot cleaning of every desk partition, all desks, drawers, shelving and cabinetry wiped down, and the internal glass cleaned throughout.
- Repairs, 18 March. Reinstalled the bathroom door vent, patched the hallway and reception walls and hung a canvas, secured a hook in the electronics cupboard, fitted cool lighting in the reception lobby, changed the lock on the office door off reception to a handle lock, and rehung the boardroom door on new hinges with an extra hinge for strength.
- Lighting, March. Removed the old strip lighting in a bulkhead and installed two new strips.
- A new reception door. In April we quoted the full job, from carpentry and painting to a licensed electrician moving the light switches and swipe card reader, with three ways to run it: weekdays, weekends or a mix, so the client could weigh cost against time with reception closed. The door was supplied and installed in May, with an extra panel added above it.
- Washrooms and kitchen. Fitted five foaming soap dispensers across the toilets and kitchen, added a kitchen hand towel dispenser and repaired a toilet seat.
The Outcome
- One call for the whole office. Cleaning, repairs, lighting and the reception door all came through the team that already knew the site.
- Repairs closed in a single visit. The priority list was worked through on 18 March, and a boardroom door that would not close properly was realigned on the same visit.
- Still running. The office cleaning has continued every month since it began.
