Cameron Facilities cleans a corporate office in Perth every week. After a walk through of the office, on 1 April 2026 we sent the client a written inspection report with photographs, covering what the weekly clean was doing well and what needed more than a weekly clean.
The Situation
Reception, the open plan workstations, both boardrooms, the corridors and the common areas were all rated good. One item was marked action required: water staining on the carpet beneath the pot plants throughout the office.
The cause was excess water escaping from the base of the pots at watering time, which is not something regular cleaning alone can address. The chair upholstery across the office was also due for a professional steam clean, and the glass partitions and doors would benefit from a detailed clean on both sides.
What We Did
- Fixed the cause. Recommended drip trays under the pots to protect the carpet, and supplied and installed five plant bases.
- Shampooed the carpet. A full hot water extraction carpet shampoo, including treatment of the stained areas around the plants.
- Steam cleaned the chairs. Upholstery on 40 office chairs steam cleaned.
- Worked around the team. The works were booked for a weekend, clear of the working week.
- Priced up front. The recommended services came in writing, with photographs and a price for each service, so the client could approve exactly what it needed.
The Outcome
- The cause dealt with, not just the stain. The bases are there to catch excess water at watering time and protect the carpet from fresh staining.
- A refreshed office. Carpet extracted and 40 chairs steam cleaned.
- An ongoing partnership. The weekly clean has continued every month since.
